First there was the issue of when do you want the Recurring Bill to appear in the Pay Bills file. We chose 10 days ahead of the recurring date but the actual due date that hit Bill Pays was 10 days after the recurring date. This turned out to be our problem because the calculation in the software also looked at Vendor terms and all of our vendors were set up in the company file to be “Net 10.” When the terms were changed to “Due on Receipt” the problem went away so that we now have the right date showing in the Bill Pay record. QBO was at fault here because there is not a single instruction anywhere that tells you how the software calculates the due date – and the “Help” people cannot tie their own shoes.

QB Online is the worst and most user UN-friendly program I have ever used. I love the desktop version, but the online version is crap. It has the worst and most frustrating payroll system ever. You are unable to amend anything when doing a pay cheque, and if anything is different from the previous month, good luck being able to fix and/or change anything.
